The decision to purchase Season 1 of Dollhouse without having seen a single episode was based on one fact; that Joss Whedon is nothing if not reliable. Having fallen madly in love with all “Whedon-verse” shows including Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Dr. Horrible, it seemed ridiculous that I wasn’t a Dollhouse watcher from the start. This originated from an unfair prejudice again Ms. Dushku. I just didn’t like her.

Like most everyone else mourning his loss today, I did not know John Hughes. To be honest there were pieces of the guy’s “Holden Caulfield” nature that always made me question who the heck he actually was. But now it doesn’t matter what he was. He is Abe Froman, Sausage King of Chicago.

Between my latest adventures traveling into the city, just so I could intensely stare at Joseph Gordon-Levitt onscreen, and my 4th or 5th time watching the GLEE premiere, I pretty much feel like I’m waving my nerd colors for all to see.

Delicately put, I am a nostalgia whore. It’s true, I constantly crave that familiar feeling of “been there, seen that.

I don’t actually feel like a “piece” of real estate, more like looking at it. Anything from ramshackle modern day apartments to aged Victorian mansions.

As I reboot Do You Have a Flag? I was thinking of doing some elaborate first post… but then it got late and I got tired, and started watching trailers instead.
